Who is eligible for affordable housing thanks to state support
Urbanity Campus Tachov is being built, among other things, thanks to support from the Affordable Rental Housing Program, which is managed by the State Housing Development Fund. This program enables the implementation of projects that provide quality and affordable housing for people who would otherwise not be able to afford their own apartment – for example, young people under 35 or workers in public service professions.
Thanks to this support, Urbanity is building eight villa houses with a total of 52 fully equipped apartments. These are intended for long-term rent and will offer a high standard, energy efficiency (class A), and access to services that are typically missing in rental housing – for example, technical support, the option to rent a parking space, cleaning services, or a package room.
Who can get an apartment? Primarily those who meet the program's conditions: young people under 35, employees in education, healthcare, social services, security forces, or public administration. Also, applicants with lower incomes who can demonstrate the ability to pay rent regularly. To sign a contract, you only need an identity card, proof of income, and possibly references from a previous landlord.
The apartments are ready for immediate move-in – equipped with a kitchen, furniture, washing machine, and storage space. Rental agreements are concluded for one to two years with the possibility of extension. Utilities and services are paid separately in the form of advances and monthly fees. The deposit is two to three months' rent and is refundable upon the termination of the lease without issues.
"Thanks to the cooperation with the state, we can offer housing that is affordable, high-quality, and stable. We believe that precisely such projects make sense – they help people and develop cities at the same time," says Roland Hofman, CEO of the Urbanity group.
